Charizard for Halloween

This animation was made in After Effects using the Rubberhose plugin, and features my friend in a handmade Charizard costume flapping his wings. I wanted to capture a fun, Halloween-themed moment with simple, expressive character movement.

Animating the wings was the most challenging part. I ended up recording a video reference to study how the wings should move, which helped guide the final animation. This project was a great chance to mix creativity with problem-solving in a lighthearted way.
